Training on your own is good, you work at your own pace, don’t feel embarrassed or the need to show off. But why not maximise your training and workout with a buddy! Let me tell you why…
The first of many reasons is that you’ll be more motivated.
If you’re too tired or can’t be bothered after a long day of work. Arrange with your partner on what time you will meet at the gym and you’ll stick to it as you wouldn’t want to bail on them and let them down. Once you’re at the gym, you can push each other to do those few extra reps or 1 more minute on the treadmill.
You’ll work out harder.
Whenever you’re working out with someone else, the intensity and competitiveness is going to rocket than when you’re alone. You don’t want to be that wimp who can’t keep up, you’ll push yourself to keep up and try and better them to some sense.
You’ll have a spotter whenever you want.
Never again will you have to approach a random person you don’t know and nervously ask them to spot you. You will no longer need to count your own reps, just smash as many as you physically can. Your confidence will boost massively and you won’t feel as weary trying to lift the weight – You’ll more than likely manage to power through a few extra reps. A spotter can also keep an eye on your form to ensure the technique is 100%.
There are numerous reasons why, but go find yourself a fitness freak as well as you and you’ll be on your way to achieving your goals in no time!
